FR4 Gold-Plated Plate
FR4 gives you a little bit of give, and you feel it on every keypress. Bottom out lands softer, the note comes back deeper, and your fingers are not beat up after a three hour scrim block. The gold plated finish keeps it clean under the switches for the long haul.
Carbon Fiber Plate
Carbon fiber goes the other direction. Almost no flex, so every press stops right where you expect it to and the sound snaps back tight and crisp. Run this one if you want the board to feel immediate and report back the second you commit.
